I stitched the outline of photographs onto maps of where they were taken, then i traced the map inside the images but didn’t trace the outline. I then enlarged the maps and stitched them onto tracing paper. The reason I chose to work onto tracing paper is because I thought it was interesting how You can not only see the image but the unintentional marks on the other side too.

This video is an experimentation with shining light through my images.

From the photos and maps that I have been experimenting with, I first traced the maps within the photographs but deleted the outline. The I enlarged the image and stitched it onto tracing paper. I chose to tracing paper because I like the way that the unintentional marks behind the image come through the paper, It makes it more interesting. Three more left to do.
